About
Dr. KIANG, a friend of mine, invited me to join a cool project. We're creating character illustration stickers for the 4 psychedelics – LSD, psilocybin, MDMA, and mescaline. The goal is to educate the public about their historical context and medical potential.
What I Did in This Project
Dr. KIANG, a Taiwan-based doctor, champions marijuana legalization. Inspired by The Simpsons, we crafted characters in his likeness to embody his spirit. We aimed to capture The Simpsons' free-spirited vibe, depicting him with a marijuana scepter, shouting to represent a revolutionary fighter.
These are the early character concept designs I did, used for hashing out the overall vibe with Dr. KIANG. We mainly focused on the characters' silhouettes since they'll be depicted as stickers, aiming for easy recognition even from a distance.
